Once again, I want to thank you for praying for me, my family and for Hope Family Ministries – Hope Family Counseling. By God’s grace, I have been in remission from bladder cancer one year!
Our “Awareness Event” was November 8, 2018, with over 100 present! “Hometown Hope” is our campaign theme. We are excited! Our objective is to expand and build financial sustainability for Hope Family Ministries-Hope Family Counseling into the future.
This year, 2018, has been a challenging year financially for the ministry. So, once again we are contacting you to ask for your prayers and a special gift. From January – October, 2018, our expenses exceeded our income by $129,816. We need to hear from you soon! Please help Hope Family Ministries get caught up and be financially strong. We are so thankful for each gift!
During 2018, (January – October) we counseled with 540 people providing 2,032 hours of Biblical counseling.This resulted in 63 people praying to surrender their life to Jesus! Also, 157 people rededicated their life to Jesus!
Since the ministry began we counseled with 14,608 people providing 48,226 hours of Biblical counseling. This resulted in 2,544 people praying to surrender their life to Jesus! Also, 5,536 people rededicated their life to Jesus!
We know the importance of receiving hope in time of need. Often it is the difference between life and death, reconciliation or divorce, sickness and health, eternity with God or away from God. We have two full-time and two part-time Biblical Counselors on staff to help with counseling needs. As a reminder, we are a non-profit organization (501c3), with a governing Board of Directors. We have provided Biblical Counseling to individuals, couples and families for over twenty two years, and never charged a fee! The contributions of clients consistently amounts to only eighteen to twenty percent of the cost of operating the ministry.
God has positioned us to depend upon those within the Body of Christ to partner with us. What a testimony for the Body of Christ to willingly offer hope to those who are in need! Our counseling ministry touches lives literally around the world. We are practicing financial integrity and accountability. This is reflected in our membership with the Evangelical Counsel for Financial Accountability (ECFA), and annual audits.
