Rev. Milton H. (Mike) Marecle, D. Min
President and Founder of Hope Family Ministries, a local Biblical Counseling non-profit ministry in Tupelo, Mississippi. Hope Family Ministries was founded in 1995 and is located at 2754 Mattox Street. Hope Family Ministries has provided Biblically based counseling, Marriage Enrichment Workshops, and Discipleship Training for 15 years, literally around the world.
He holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Pastoral Counseling and is licensed and ordained as a Southern Baptist Minister. He is a graduate of Andersonville Theological Seminary, Luther Rice Bible University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He holds membership in the following professional organizations: American Association of Christian Counselors, Southern Baptist Association of Biblical Counselors, International Association of Biblical Counselors (Certified Biblical Counselor), International Board of Christian Counselors (Board Certified Pastoral Counselor), Association of Biblical Counselors. He has a passion for helping children, youth and adults find freedom, purpose and hope in Jesus Christ.
Currently a resident of Saltillo, MS.
Member of Calvary Baptist Church, Tupelo for 19 years.
Wife of 30 years: Rosemary, who is a Nursing Instructor at MUW, in Columbus, MS.
Son: Matt is pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Booneville. Matt is married to Natalie and they have 2 children, Allie Elizabeth and Nathaneal.
Carolyn Roye is a graduate of Mississippi Delta Jr. College, Clarke College and Blue Mountain College. She has been married to Tim Roye for 30 years and they have two adult children. Carolyn and Tim are members of Auburn Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS.
As a Biblical Counselor at Hope Family Ministries, she counsels with individuals, couples and families. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC), the International Board of Christian Counselors (IBCC) and is a Board Certified Biblical Counselor with the IBCC.
Carolyn accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at age 9 and surrendered her life to full-time Christian service at age 13. Through the years, she has had the opportunity to serve in churches on staff as Minister of Music and Youth Director, on mission trips, retreats and conferences. On April 18, 1996, God called Carolyn specifically into Women’s Ministry to teach, encourage and help girls and women become women of God in their roles as wives, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, mentors and friends. It has been her joy and privilege to come alongside many women using the Word of God and personal testimony to help them through difficult seasons of their lives.
One of her favorite verses of Scripture through the years has been:
Proverbs 3:5-6 – "Trust in the Lord, with all your heart. Lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he shall direct your path."
Rev. William H. Hurst is a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He holds a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling as well as Bachelors Degree from Delta State University in Cleveland, Ms. He is an ordained Southern Baptist Minister and Deacon. He is a member of AACC, IBCC, and is a Board Certified Biblical Counselor with IBCC.
Bro. William lives in Baldwyn, Ms. with his wife, Pam. They have five sons and are members of Harrisburg Baptist Church.
Bro. William has a passion for leading the lost to everlasting hope, identity, renewal, forgiveness, restoration, and new purpose in Jesus Christ. Bro. William’s counseling goal is helping others expose false beliefs, renew the mind, deal with emotions, understand God’s plan for growing in Christ as he or she journeys through life, and understand God’s gender roles in marriage, family, home, and church.
Rev. Kevin Wallace joined the counseling staff in September of 2009. Prior to that, he spent 25 years in various capacities as a pastor, chaplain and minister.
Bro. Kevin grew up in Pontotoc, MS . He began his college career by studying Law Enforcement Technology at Itawamba Junior College. He went on to earn a B.A. in Business Administration from Union University, and a Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary as well as continued training in Clinical Pastoral Education. He has also led and/or served on mission teams in the U.S. and overseas.
Bro. Kevin married his high school sweetheart and he states that they have been best friends for almost 30 years. They have been blessed with two sons. Matthew is married and he and his wife are graduate students at Mississippi College. Andrew is a business major at Ole Miss.
The Wallace’s enjoy serving, learning and worshipping at their home church, West Heights Baptist Church in Pontotoc.
The first voice a client hears, and the first face a client sees is most often that of Tammy Johnson. Her soft, southern drawl and compassionate manner is a source of comfort for many of the clients and supporters that either call or come by the office.
Tammy grew up in a small community in Itawamba County, and graduated from Mantachie High School. She has been married to Tim for 23 years and they have two children—Kala (18) and Clay (13). The Johnson family lives in Baldwyn where they are members of East Mount Zion Baptist Church. Tim is a deacon and Tammy works in various capacities with the children and youth.
